5 days advanced techniques for creative traditional B/W photography

A course on Creative Photography, using traditional B/W film techniques in the heart of the Umbrian countryside.

Topics of the course:

• “Portrait” shooting within the studio, using professional equipment and outdoors, using natural light and bouncers;
• “Landscapes” shooting in the amazing Umbrian countryside;
• Darkroom Techniques ranging from film development to print enlargements. Using negatives of different sizes, the tests and the Fine Art print techniques.

Scheduled activities:

• Excursion in the countryside to work on “Natural Landscapes”, focusing on to use the light to create original and creative shots.
• Excursion to the town to work on “Urban Landscapes and People”, capturing characteristic corners and unusual aspects of the town life and his art and craft workers.

This will be an unforgettable experience for those wishing to learn the secrets of photography and have first-hand experience of Italian traditions, the Italian lifestyle and Italian arts and crafts.

Required equipment: your own camera with one or more lenses.

Suggested equipment: a laptop, a tripod

N°5 35mm or 120 roll films and development’s material will be included in the course fees.
